“Avoid the common illusion that creative work depends on equipment alone; it is easy to confuse the hope for accomplishment with the desire to possess superior instruments.”
– Ansel Adams, The Camera
Like most people, early on, I felt that I needed the latest and greatest equipment. In the end, I wish I wouldn’t have given into such desires. I would have learned more about the equipment and understand why it was an improvement over the previous generation. But, being a gadget person, sometimes the shiny and new overwhelms reason.
That being said, I found it very useful to read reviews of camera gear and see what people were saying. For that reason, I wanted to make my contribution and offer a peak inside my camera bag. This is also why I don’t strip any EXIF information from my photos.
